New UK Festival Dates in May

Ben has a pair of solo festival gigs coming up in May, Bearded Theory in Derbyshire on the 19th and Elderflower Fields in Sussex on the 26th.

UK Dates Added

Ben has added a few UK solo dates to the calendar between Mez tours, including Brighton (Dec 16), Manchester (Dec 22), and Derbyshire (Dec 23), before returning to Bush Hall in London on January 19th. Check the tour dates for all details.

Ben Confirms Australian Tour in April

We're pleased to announce that Ben will be heading to Australia for a weeklong tour beginning on April 6th in Sydney.  All dates are on sale now at the Love Police website.

UK Tour Begins Saturday

Ben will hit the road this weekend to begin his UK tour in support of the release of Shapes & Shadows, which is available everywhere now.  The tour kicks off in Cork, Ireland on Saturday night and continues through March 9th, when the tour finishes up with a big show at Bush Hall in London.  Tickets are still available for these shows.

Ben Ottewell to Release Shapes & Shadows Download "Lightbulbs" for Free

Ben Ottewell is set to release his first solo album, Shapes & Shadows, in February, 2011. The album is scheduled to be released in the UK (Eat Sleep Records) on February 7th and on February 15th in the US (ATO) and Australia (Shock).

Shapes & Shadows is available on CD, MP3 or FLAC and is available individually or bundled with an exclusive five track digital EP containing acoustic versions of four of the songs from Shapes & Shadows and a very special cover song. This EP will be available to download from the day of the release of the album.

Today marks the release date in the UK for Shapes & Shadows.

Ben Joins the Cabinet of Wonders

While in New York City next week, Ben will stop by John Wesley Harding's Cabinet of Wonders at City Winery (after Ben's solo set at the Mercury Lounge) on Friday, February 11th.  Ben will join a cast of characters including Ted Leo, Fiery Furnaces, Eugene Mirman, Evan Dando & Juliana Hatfield as well as the host himself, John Wesley Harding for an evening of songs and stories.

Mercury Lounge Show Confirmed

In addition to Ben's previously confirmed appearance for the Neil Young Tribute at Carnegie Hall on February 10th, he has confirmed an additional show at the Mercury Lounge on Friday, February 11th at 7:00pm.  Tickets for this acoustic performance will go on sale on Saturday, January 15th at ticketmaster.  Stay tuned for some additional info forthcoming regarding this NYC trip.
